Plates:

IVANKO Barbell carries a large selection of Olympic and regular series weights. All newly manufactured iron incorporates a mixture of steel within the cast producing an extremely durable plate. Cold rolled steel plates are precision machined and chrome plated. Other finishes include a hammertone non chip paint and bonded rubber encasement. All of Ivanko's rubber is developed from scratch; NO rubber is reused. Much of the industry chooses to use lower grade materials and improper bonding methods, causing coatings to crack and break away.

Ivanko's entire line of plates are exceptionally accurate, competition plates are within grams of what they read. Operating it's own foundry allows Ivanko to offer the finest quality control and product consistency available. Ivanko's effort and detail to this point has proven to the industry that "a plate is not just a plate."

Bars & Collars:

All IVANKO's bars and collars begin with the finest steel and alloys available. All aspects of machining and knurling entail meticulous workmanship. The tensile strength of Ivanko's competition bars far exceed necessity.

Regular series bars and dumbbell handles involve a forged inner collar. Ivanko Olympic sleeves are made from all steel and are press fitted and welded to perfection for a smooth rotation. Ivanko has witnessed over the years many of their competitors using inferior steel and alloys causing bars to permanently bend, along with Olympic sleeves constructed of low grade component parts(as shown in the comparison photo) which tend to break apart under constant stress.

Ivanko's complete line of collars involve patented, innovative locking systems, resulting in the highest level of safety and performance attainable.

Ivanko's intense level of engineering and workmanship may seem a little out of the ordinary, but "doing things correct from the start is the only way we know how".

Dumbbells:

Having established quality components and craftmanship enables Ivanko to construct a wide variety of dumbbells, catering to all markets.

Pro style dumbbells consist of regular series plates capped off with a selection of unique end plates. They produce a tighter lock and add the most advanced numbering system on the market. The fixed handle incorporates a special alloy steel bolt, enabling it to be torqued to 140 ft. pounds, for a permanent lock. Adjustable handles are equipped with Ivanko's revolutionary pressure ring collars, locking plates securely. Both handles involve Ivanko's forged inner collars designed to prevent handle breakage, which often occurs with pressed on inner collars(as observed in the photo). Ivanko's line of solid dumbbells offer various styles of both hammertone and chrome plated steel.

Using the right ingredients in manufacturing does cost Ivanko a bit more but offers you a dumbbell you'll rarely need to replace. In this heavy-duty industry, you certainly do get what you pay for.

Sets:

A full spectrum of plates, bars and collars blend to create the numerous sets ranging in style and price.

The regular series contains combination barbell/dumbbell sets from 110-160 lbs., while separate adjustable dumbbells are offered in 45 lb. sets. Available in hammertone iron, bonded rubber, and chrome or gold plates steel.

The Olympic series offers 302 lbs. of machined hammertone and chrome sets to Ivanko's 142kg. calibrated painted, chromed or rubber-encased sets. These sets are in constant use, supplying major powerlifting and weightlifting events worldwide, due to their extreme level of accuracy.

Packaging of Ivanko's entire product line is second to none. The photo shows how the insulation and boxing is custom molded to fit the item. This prevents damage and makes for easy handling. This is just another feature to assure that your purchase becomes a lifelong investment.
